Ho Teaching Hospital Leadership Participates in the 2026 Annual Health Summit

The Chief Executive Officer of Ho Teaching Hospital, Dr Hintermann K. K. Mbroh, together with the Director of Research, Policy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation (RPPME), Mr Simon Dzokoto, joined hundreds of health sector stakeholders at the opening of the 2026 Annual Health Summit at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, Accra.

The two-day summit was held under the theme “Building a Resilient Health Workforce to Accelerate the Attainment of Universal Health Coverage,” bringing together policymakers, health professionals, development partners, academia, and industry leaders to discuss strategies for strengthening Ghana’s health system. The summit was hosted by the Minister for Health, Kwabena Mintah Akandoh, with the Vice President of Ghana, Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, serving as the Special Guest of Honour.

The participation of Ho Teaching Hospital’s leadership underscores the Hospital’s commitment to contributing to national health policy discussions and advancing initiatives that promote a strong, resilient, and sustainable health workforce for improved healthcare delivery.
